I was born in Buenos Aires and after graduating from high school I first studied engineering in Argentina and then continued my studies in Austria. In 1973 I started to study music at the Musikhochschule Graz and in 1976 I graduated with distinction in recorder. In addition, I obtained the corresponding teaching diploma. For my postgraduate studies I went to the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, where I graduated in 1980 with the baroque flute as my main subject.
1982-1987 Lecturer at the Bern Conservatory (Switzerland)
Seit 1987 Professor for recorder, transverse flute, chamber music and performance practice at the Cologne University of Music and Dance as well as in Wuppertal.
2002-2011 Lecturer at the Federal music academy in Trossingen
2010-2018 Teaching assignment at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf.
Concerts, master classes and special coaching in most European and American countries.
Numerous CD recordings as a soloist and as a member of various baroque orchestras (e.g. Concerto Köln, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin).
Several textbooks for the recorder (Ricordi, Con Brio), as well as a large number of play-along CDs (Dowani/de Haske).
